Can I remove or separate the two shelves if my storage needs change?

Absolutely yes. The system is fully modular and flexible.
Thanks to the innovative tool-free quick-release mechanism, you can decide in a few seconds whether to use the full double-shelf kit, remove only the upper shelf to place taller equipment, or slide out the entire structure to return to an open configuration under your back bar module. You can reattach and reconfigure everything on site without dismantling your bar station.

With two loaded shelves and the wheels moving, is there a risk that the upper shelf slides or shifts?

No risk, stability is complete. We designed this kit to behave as a single, extremely safe monolithic block. The lower shelf has 4 structural steel angle brackets that lock the upper shelf precisely in place, preventing any swinging or jolting. Even when moving the bar module at full load on uneven floors or ramps, the two shelves remain firmly anchored to each other. In addition, the non-slip food-grade rubber mat covering on both levels prevents bottles and equipment from sliding or making noise.

What are the overall dimensions and the usable space between the two shelves?

The kit is optimised to give you maximum vertical capacity while keeping a compact profile from the floor.
Space between the two shelves: there are 35 cm of usable space between the first and second shelf.
Upper space: the net usable space from the second shelf to the worktop of your back bar module is 35 cm.
